No harmful substances into the environment
Electroplating is widely associated with terms like poisoned chemicals, polluted water or atmospheric load. The law placed precautions in order to maintain the conservation of our environment and to sustain our health: Wastewater polluted by chemicals may not be drained/discharged into the sewerage.
All water from the process is collected in the cellars under the galvanizing plant. Two third of the area is reserved for a process controlled wastewater treatment plant. Every charge is analysed before leaving the factory. To reduce process-water it flows through an ion exchange recirculation plant. The cleaned up water is lead back to the process. Fresh water can be saved and wastewater and costs can be reduced. At the same time the quality is still on the highest standard.
